  • Assemble at Changi International Airport to check in for your flight to Taipei, Taiwan’s capital city. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to Sanxia Old Street, a charming street featuring traditional red-brick buildings, shops, food vendors and a historic temple. Thereafter, proceed to Yingge Historic Ceramics Street, the largest center for ceramic production in Taiwan with over 800 ceramic-related businesses. Explore and savour authentic Taiwanese food at Lehua Night Market before we turn in for the night.

D2

  • Visit Dancewoods Japanese Garden Theme Park, stroll through the vast 5.75-hectares Japanese-style gardens; interact with alpacas, black-nose sheep, capybaras or meerkats; or join a Japanese Wagashi DIY. Proceed to Nantien Temple, a famous temple dedicated to the goddess Mazu and onwards to Hualien, a natural haven perfect for escapes from the city. Visit Taiwan Flavor - Wanweifan Paradise, a retro-style tourist factory featuring Hualien’s agricultural products and local specialty. Brief stop at Qixingtan Scenic Area, a photogenic destination with crystal-like black stones, blue waterfront with lush green mountains overlooking the highway stretches. End the day at Dongdamen Night Market, the largest night market in Hualien.

Breakfast / Lunch

D3

  • Depart to Taitung, a city known for its magnificent landscapes and rich ecology. Enroute, stop by Fuli Flower Sea to see huge straw statues standing among seas of seasonal flowers before we proceed to visit Wutao Chishang Lunchbox Museum and taste a Taiwanese rice lunchbox inspired by the Japanese Bento. Get on a bicycle and ride along Brown Boulevard, also known as ‘Mr. Brown Avenue’, a popular cycling route through picturesque rice paddies field. Get onboard and travel to Luye Highlands for panoramic view of Beinan River valley from atop and wrap-up the day with a visit to Tiehua Music Village, an eclectic and vibrant village jointly created by Taitung musicians and art workers.

Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

D4

  • Embark on a journey to explore the quintessential Hakka culture at Meinong Folk Village where you get to step into the homes of the Hakka people, brimming with their vibrant and diverse cultural elements. Thereafter, visit the iconic Buddha Museum, a magnificent complex fuses traditional and modern elements. (Note: Buddha Museum is closed on Tuesday, replace with Fo Guang Shan.) Step into the world of retail therapy at E-DA Outlet Mall, a European inspired mega store spanning over 4-storeys and houses over 700 both local and international brands.

  • Depart to Nantou, a captivating city known for its stunning natural beauty. Proceed to visit Toushe Basin, where you get to put on a pair of rain boots and step into the ‘dancing soils’ in the basin, one of the world's rare peat soils and the only basin-shaped sedge peat area globally. Experience serene alpine lake views with forested peaks at the legendary Sun Moon Lake and capture pictures of Wenwu Temple, which has the architecture evocative of palaces in northern China. Explore vibrant Ita Thao Shopping District before we conclude the day with a visit to Fengjia Night Market, one of the most famous and bustling night markets in Taichung.
