Gather at Changi International Airport to complete your check-in for the flight to Fukuoka, Japan.

Upon arrival, head to Yufuin Floral Village. This small theme park is surrounded by a rich variety of nature, designed to look like a country village in England’s Cotswolds region. Here, you can see the natural landmark Lake Kinrinko, famous for its mystical views which you can admire from the surrounding walking paths. Then, it’s time for one of the most unique experiences in Beppu – soaking in a Hot Sand Bath! Imagine yourself lying down covered by the natural heated sand and gazing out at the sea in front of you. Finally, visit the Hells of Beppu to see steaming ponds of various colors, bubbling mud pools and other hydrothermal activities.

Today, hop on a 3-hour ferry from Beppu to Ehime (Shikoku). Upon arrival, visit Matsuyama Castle, a flat land mountain castle that was built in 1603 on Mount Katsuyama that stands tall with a height of 132 meters in Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture (the former Iyo Province). Next, visit Dogo Onsen, stroll around one of Japan's most famous and oldest hot springs with a history of 3,000 years. It is popular for its beautiful bath house and ryokan, which provided inspiration for Hayao Miyazaki’s film, “Spirited Away”

After breakfast, visit the Kochi Castle Tower (exterior) & Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum. This museum is involved in the research of Ryoma Sakamoto (1835-1867) and the Meiji Restoration, as well as the gathering, preservation, and display of related materials. Visit Hirome Market, Kochi’s most famous market in central Hirome where you can find all of Kochi’s local delicacies!

Today, board the Oboke Gorge River Cruise and enjoy the splendour of Tokushima’s Oboke Gorge on a 30-minute sightseeing boat ride. There are beautiful sights to appreciate all four seasons, with snow-capped mountains in the winter, wild cherry trees colouring the hillside in spring, the free green leaves in summer, and the coloured leaves in autumn (subject to weather conditions). Next, we will pass the scenic Iya Valley area known for its dramatic mountain valleys while travelling to Iya Vine Bridge which is in Nishiyayama Village in Miyoshi city. This bridge is among the 3 most peculiar bridges in Japan. Near the bridge, see Biwa Falls, a beautiful 50-meter-high waterfall. In the afternoon, head to the Naruto Strait Whirlpools. Large whirlpools occur here between Awaji Island and Magosaki in Naruto City, which are caused by the ebb and flow of the tides. Known as one of the world's 3 largest whirlpools, it’s a stunning experience that you wouldn’t want to miss (subject to weather conditions).

This morning, we will visit *Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park that is in the center of Hiroshima. The park was built on an open field that was created by the explosion. It includes the *Atomic Bomb Dome, an international symbol for the abolition of nuclear weapons and lasting world peace. Next, enjoy some DIY udon making at Nakano Udon School with the friendly and fun udon specialists. Head to Miyajima Island + Floating Gate - Miyajima is a small island less than an hour outside the city of Hiroshima. It is most famous for its giant torii gate, which at high tide seems to float on the water. The sight is ranked as one of Japan's three best views. (Overnight stay either in Hiroshima or Yamaguchi)


Floral viewing* (Departures from late April to Mid-May): Flower Park Urashima (to replace Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park/Atomic Bomb Dome) - an oasis of nature where you can enjoy seasonal flowers blooming on vast farmland.

After breakfast, stop for photos at Kokura Castle, which is a reconstruction of a samurai mansion and a lord’s garden from the Edo period, and Shiro Terrace, where souvenirs can be bought. Next, visit the 100-year-old Tanga Market, well-known as the ‘kitchen of Kitakyushu’ and features about 120 shops selling seafood and prepared foods packed into the relatively small block that makes up the market, including a handful of restaurants. Before dinner, indulge in some shopping at The Outlet Kitakyushu, a popular destination offering a wide range of international and domestic brands at discounted prices.

Today, we'll visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the deity of learning. Then, head to Maizuru Park in Fukuoka city, known for its beauty and historical significance. Marvel at the ruins of Fukuoka Castle while enjoying panoramic city views. Lastly, explore the vibrant Tenjin Shopping District, one of Fukuoka's most popular areas, bustling with department stores, boutiques, specialty shops, and trendy cafés.
