After breakfast, visit Stone Forest (includes electric tram ride), also known as “The First Wonder of the World” ;amazed by a massive collection of gray limestone pillars, split by rainwater and eroded to their present form. You will be captivated by its immense beauty.This forest of stone , formed by erosion over millions of years, is comprised of many stone peaks, pillars and stalagmites rising abruptly from the ground. Proceed to Chuxiong and visit the Yi Ancient Town. It is a cultural center that integrates the display of Yi folk houses and tourism. Proceed to the historical and cultural city Dali, also known as the “Switzerland of the East”. Explore the Ancient Town of Dayan, also known as Sifangjie (The Market Square), the old town of Lijiang. A commercial center in the 1300s, its old town encompasses cobblestone streets, canals and Central Market Square with shops & restaurants. Next, visit Hei Long Tan (Black Dragon Lake) a famous pond in the scenic Jade Spring Park.

After breakfast, visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area where you will take the cableway to the Glacier Park, 4500m above sea level, see the 2.7m long white water glacier that was formed 40,000 years ago. The Iced Tallinn, also known as “Green Snow Peaks”. As the cable car ascends, you can see different types of glaciers. Next, visit the Lan Yue Valley (Blue Moon Valley) and Ganhaizi. Continue to enjoy the ecological stage performance of , directed by renowned Chinese director Zhang Yimou.

Coach on to Shangri-la . Compulsory Tours @own expense ; Tibetan dress-up (includes one set of Tibetan clothes/person + simple makeup and hair do). Change into Tibetan clothes and enjoy a visit to the famous Shangri-la Gedan SongZanLing Lamasery. Constructed in 1679 , it is similar to the original one in Tibet. Also known as the small Potala Palace, it is the first Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan. Visit a local Tibetan Home, understand the life of Tibetans, experience different local customs, and learn about making butter tea tools and supplies. Next, visit the Guishan Park, view World’s Biggest Tibetan Prayer Wheel and Dukezong Ancient City. Dukezong was a key stop on the Ancient Tea-horse Road and a focal point for Han-Tibetan exchanges. It is the largest and best-preserved Tibetan city among China 147 Tibetan counties.

After breakfast, proceed to Dali. Upon arrival, learn about Dali’s 600 years of historical culture, proceed to visit Dali Ancient Town. Appreciate the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake in Dali, visit Xizhou Ancient Town, Corner Tower, and taste Xizhou Baba . Next visit the Dali Ancient City with a history of more than 600 years (excludes electric tram ride),which is the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and The capital of Dali. Go shopping at the famous Dali Foreigner Street, where shops are lined up on both sides and a wide range of goods are available, so you can enjoy shopping, enjoy the fish casserole flavor for dinner

Coach back to Kunming, visit *Daguan Park, built during Kangxi dynasty. It boasts a 180-word antithetical couplet, the longest in China. Thereafter tour to Nanping Pedestrian Street and JinMaBiJi (Golden Horse Jade Rooster Archway). Tonight, enjoy the “Dynamic Yunnan” Performance (optional tour). This grand, original ethnic dance musical fuses the music of Yunnan’s ethnic minorities.
