  • Pick up at Da Nang airport and transfer to Hue (110km; 2.5hrs transfer). Dinner at a local restaurant.

  • In the morning, take a boat trip on the romantic Huong (Perfume) River to visit Hue's best-known religious site, the 7-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit the Citadel Complex of Hue, set up by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945, is now one amongst the relics of the Hue ancient capital. Visit the imperial city features Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Visit a village of incense makers in the ancient capital city. Since almost every household in the village engaged in incense making, the whole village is alight with a rainbow of colored bamboo sticks from the early morning associated with the aroma of sandalwood pervading the air. Transfer to Dong Hoi (200km; 4,5 hours transfer). Have dinner at a local restaurant.

Transfer to Paradise Cave, an "Underground Royal Palace" and the largest and most beautiful cave in Phong Nha – Ke Bang area. You will take an electrical car from the car park to the foothills of the cave (2km) and admire countless stalactites with different shapes in the cave. Descend into the cave on a wooden walkway, made to protect and preserve the fragile cave formations. This walkway continues for 1 km through the enormous, well-lit cave. After lunch, continue your adventure to the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in the afternoon. The park is also recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site. Board your private boat for the 2.5km cruise down the Son River to the mouth of the cave. Pass by the entrance to the mystical tunnels, filled with giant stalactites and stalagmites and crystal-clear waters and take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called water cave and famous for its rock formation. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha area before transferring back to Hue.

  • Transfer to Ba Na Hills. The resort is a unique architectural work of ancient French Villages with a square, church, town, villages and hotels. Take the 20-minute cable car ride up the Ba Na Hills and enjoy the view of the peninsula with lush green forests and waterfalls below. Activities in French Village include taking the first and unique funicular in Vietnam to a romantic flower garden – Le Jardin D’Amour; visit Campanile that is built in the style of Buddha on the peak of Ba Na Hills; visit Fantasy Park, an ideal destination for the whole family; ride the Alpine Coaster and visit the Golden Bridge located in the tourist retreat of Thien Thai Garden. The bridge sits 1,400 meters above sea level, an altitude which creates the illusion of a silk strip hiding in the clouds above Da Nang. Winding its way around a 150-meter course lined with flowers, a golden bridge shimmers against the Ba Na Hills, supported by a pair of giant hands. You may consider optional visit to Debay Ancient Wine Cellar or Ba Na Wax Statue Museum (Note: Entry fees for wine cellar or wax museum is not included in the tour fare.) Buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills. Take the cable car down to the city then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Transfer to visit Marble Mountain in Da Nang. Climb Thuy Son (‘Water’ Mountain) by the stone stairs and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside and visit Huyen Khong Cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung Pagodas where you will be rewarded by great city views and amazed by the main cave which houses a beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under a natural shaft of light. Then, drive around Son Tra Peninsula nicknamed Monkey Mountain, the screen of Da Nang City. Visit the first Linh Ung Pagoda, where exists the highest Goddess of Mercy Statue of Vietnam. The pagoda offers stunning views of Danang beach and Cham Islands in the distance. After lunch, visit Hoi An ancient town, the ancient architecture of Hoi An is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, Trieu Chau Assembly House, 200-years-old Tan Ky House & Historical Museum. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past.

Transfer to Bach Dang dock. Take a wooden boat transferring to Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community. Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Join in local fisherman on the river and experience on round net or cast net. Learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. Explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Have lunch at local family house in the village. Afternoon, visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village where you can learn and explore the daily life of local people. Observe all the steps of making a pottery product such as vase, pot, kettle, cooking pot. Continue to the home of a lantern craftsman. Here we will have a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lantern as well as the many stages of making them. We can make our own lantern and keep it as a souvenir.
