5D4N DA NANG–HOI AN–HUE–BA NA HILLS (PVT)

• Pick up at Da Nang airport and transfer to Hoi An (this is a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years). Dinner at local restaurant.

• Take a walking tour in the morning, visit Hoi An ancient town, the ancient architecture of Hoi An is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, Trieu Chau Assembly House, the 200-years-old Tan Ky House & Historical Museum. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low-tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. Transfer to Hue. On the way, visit Marble Mountain in Da Nang. Climb Thuy Son (‘Water’ Mountain) by the stone stairs and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside. Visit Huyen Khong Cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung Pagodas where you will be rewarded by great city views and amazed by the main cave which houses a beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under a natural shaft of light. Then, drive around Son Tra Peninsula nicknamed Monkey Mountain, the screen of Da Nang City. Visit the very first Linh Ung Pagoda with the highest Goddess of Mercy Statue of Vietnam. The pagoda offers stunning views of Da Nang Beach and Cham Islands in the distance. Upon arrival in Hue in the evening, check into the hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant.

• In the morning, take a boat trip on the romantic Huong (Perfume) River to visit Hue's best-known religious site, the 7-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit the Citadel Complex of Hue, set up by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945, is now one amongst the relics of the Hue ancient capital. Visit the imperial city features Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and Forbidden Purple City. Next, visit Khai Dinh Tomb which is affected by European and Oriental Architectural especially the biggest stone dragon designed along the stair step leading to the central chamber. Leave Hue and drive back to Da Nang. The scenic route passes through the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Hai Van. Stopover for taking photos over the Hai Van Pass. Arrive Da Nang in late afternoon and take picture of Dragon Bridge. This modern bridge crosses the Han River at the Le Dinh Duong/Bach Dang traffic circle, providing the shortest road link from the Da Nang International Airport to other main roads in Da Nang city. The bridge was designed and built in the shape of a dragon and breathes fire each Saturday and Sunday night at 9pm. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

• Transfer to Ba Na Hills. The resort is a unique architectural work of ancient French Villages with a square, church, town, villages and hotels. Take the 20-minute cable car ride up the Ba Na Hills and enjoy the view of the peninsula with lush green forests and waterfalls below. Activities in French Village include taking the first and unique funicular in Vietnam to a romantic flower garden – Le Jardin D’Amour; visit Campanile that is built in the style of Buddha on the peak of Ba Na Hills; visit Fantasy Park, an ideal destination for the whole family; ride the Alpine Coaster and visit the Golden Bridge located in the tourist retreat of Thien Thai Garden. The bridge sits 1,400 meters above sea level, an altitude which creates the illusion of a silk strip hiding in the clouds above Da Nang. Winding its way around a 150-meter course lined with flowers, a golden bridge shimmers against the Ba Na Hills, supported by a pair of giant hands. You may consider optional visit to Debay Ancient Wine Cellar or Ba Na Wax Statue Museum (Note: Entry fees for wine cellar or wax museum is not included in the tour fare.) Buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills. Take the cable car down to the city then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
